With her strong background in building health clinics in South Texas, Celeste understands how to support doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals so they can provide the best quality care to families in the Rio Grande Valley. From tele-health, to maternity care, access and affordability to healthcare is her priority.
Prosperity Through Businesses
The Rio Grande Valley is the launchpad for aerospace startups and teach companies that are bringing jobs to our region. As a business owner herself, Celeste believes Texans should be the example for all other states on how to cultivate economic growth through business. She will simplify licensing and cut the red tape where it’s holding businesses back.
Safe Communities & Secure Borders
Celeste will stand with law enforcement to protect our families from crime, drugs, and trafficking that have infiltrated our communities. She’ll ensure first responders have better training, technology, and equipment to protect South Texas, and she’ll our borders secure.
Strong Families, Strong Schools
Celeste wants to strengthen our schools, pay teachers well, and explore more opportunities for early childcare and after school programs. She will empower parents to make the best schooling choices for their child instead of letting bureaucrats dictate their educational path.
Representation & Election Integrity
The Rio Grande Valley is tired of being ignored. Celeste will make Austin pay attention to the needs of the Rio Grande Valley and deliver real results. She will fight to make sure every vote counts and every voice is heard.
Protecting Texas Children
Bad actors and extreme radicals are bold when it comes to exploiting our children. We must be bolder to stop explicit material from being marketed to children. Celeste will prohibit taxpayer dollars from funding entities that expose minors to inappropriate content and shut down opportunities for online predators to engage with them.
Protecting Our Water
Water is a precious resource that must be protected from environmental and geopolitical threats. Celeste will invest in reliable water infrastructure for families, farmers, ranchers, and businesses.
Standing With Survivors
As a survivor of domestic abuse, Celeste has a heart for protecting women and children from the same crimes. She will hold abusers accountable by implementing stronger penalties for repeat offenders, push for specialized training programs to help law enforcement respond, and provide services that help survivors rebuild their lives.
Secure the Electric Grid
Texas energy is in high demand. Celeste will strengthen the reliability and resilience of our electric grid and protect it from all threats: cyber, physical, weather, and attacks from foreign adversaries. Texas must remain energy-independent, self-sufficient, and ready to power the future.
